Niki, the girls and I have decided to set up a blog in order to help stay in touch with our family, friends and each other over the next several months. This is our first deployment since the girls have been born. Niki and I plan on sending lots of videos, pictures and e-mails to make the distance seem shorter and to share some of that on this site. I hope that the end of this blog finds us all safe, at home and celebrating the holidays together.

Great idea guys! We all wish you a safe and quick deployment Fester, and if any of your girls need anything, don't hesitate to ask!

We love you guys so much! This is such a great way to stay connected.
Aaron & Niki -
So glad that you will keep us informed through this blog - love you all.
Adorable picture. I like being able to stalk my cousin long distance. It keeps me from thinking about the bar exam. Be safe!
Good luck Aaron and we'll see you when you get back.
Aaron, thanks so much for serving our country. You are truly a hero to our family. The girls are adorable, give them and Niki our love. We'll be checking your blog every day.

When we left, Taylor cried for more than 10 miles. Neither of them really spoke for the entire trip to Anaheim. When I put Taylor to bed she said, "I love my Daddy."
We will look forward to checking in with you here on your blog. Good idea! Thanks for including us. Love you, ~AR & Uncle
